Hi, I’m Christina. After working very hard all my life at 80+ hours a week and sacrificing my personal life, I have come to the place where I want to help conscious entrepreneurs make a difference in the world and not give up their personal life in order to give their gifts to others.
I worked over 25 years in the Wall Street Community. During the wildcat 1980s, I was in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) teams. I spent 4 to 6 weeks with a company, going through their business structure. My task was to find out everything there was to know about the company. In 1989, I became a stock analyst and was well respected for my research reports on investing (or not) in certain companies. That involved interviewing the CEOs and CFOs, tons of research, preparing independent financial projections, and reporting and opining on the particular company’s future prospects.
By 1995, I had had it with the work load and the travel of criss-crossing the country a few times a month. The Internet was just starting to be practical. Email was actually working pretty well. I decided to form my own boutique research firm & hide out my business at home (in those days you still had to hide it). I resigned my position. I took two months to learn the computer (one month was originally planned). Well, you can imagine the screaming that came from my home office in the early days. I learned the computer on my own, with books and through trial and error. Thought I could do it all myself. (Big lesson learned THERE. No entrepreneur should do everything on their own. Do what you’re good at & get help with the rest.)
My little firm became very successful as soon as it launched, doing $60,000 in its third month of existence. The monthly income stayed there and went much higher for the next seven years. I hired other analysts, writers and a few assistants in my home (no virtual assistants yet). We helped small cap companies with their Initial Public Offerings and sponsored them to investment bankers and institutional investors (banks, mutual funds, money managers). I really rode the small company IPO BOOM of the late 1990s. After September 11, my little firm was OVER. Small companies have still not regained much favor on Wall Street.
So, I closed my firm in January, 2002. I could finally have a LIFE without the 80+ hour work weeks and travel. I never did get to relax with my own firm because I had not learned the balanced mindset & lifestyle part of business yet.
During my time off, I discovered … I WASN’T DONE YET !!! After yelling at my computer for years, I discovered the real fun of it. Then, I observed all the Internet businesses popping up and becoming REALLY SUCCESSFUL. As a business model analyst, this really excited me. This is the first time in humankind that you can set up a great business for very little cost. The huge barriers of entry of the past are GONE. This is great!
I also discovered COACHING and took multiple coaching programs and INTERNET BUSINESS training courses from a multitude of the best Coaches, Mentors, Trainers and Information Marketers in the business. I wanted to fast-track myself and RAPID BUSINESS BUILDING so I could avoid the pitfalls and mistakes of learning a new business by trial and error.
The difficult part about my Wall Street career was the grueling hours of work that allowed no personal life at all. I took my work very seriously as many people were depending on my opinion and my assistance to the CEOs, all the employees of a company, and the investors in a company. The new paradigm shift of Internet businesses allows an entrepreneur to have an extremely successful business and STILL KEEP A WONDERFUL PERSONAL LIFESTYLE. That’s why I fell in love with the conscious entrepreneurial business model that is growing so fast today.
NOW, I’ve brought all my training and experience in analyzing businesses and my BIRD’S EYE VIEW of what works and what doesn’t work, to TEACH Internet-Based business owners how to put all the right parts place that are critical for ALL businesses. It’s really easier than you think with the technology and resources we have today.
